BarkWoofYap was born in 2016.

I'd recently escaped West London, drawn by the promise of rolling hills, wide open spaces, and endless tranquility in Bedfordshire. Two out of three ain't bad...

My dogs, Chai and Latté, had their own challenges. Chai, a pedigree, suffered from floating ribs, slipping kneecaps, and a host of other inherited issues. Latté, a rescue, battled severe anxiety from his difficult past.

Sadly, I couldn't find the support they needed in our new rural home. This lack of resources, coupled with the increasing pressure of caring for my dogs, began to affect my work and well-being.

Looking back, I realise how naive I was to assume that the countryside would offer the same level of services as the city.

Frustrated and determined, I left my job and created BarkWoofYap, the service I so desperately needed.

BarkWoofYap promises bespoke care, all of which is built upon a pet-centred care model, it is not a service for human convenience and this has become a value that we live and breathe.

We give each of your furry, scaly, or feathery friends the attention they deserve because though we may not speak the same language the importance of these relationships is undeniable.

In today's hectic world, it's easy to see pets as just another chore or something the kids have. But let's not forget that our furry friends offer us so much more than that. They give us unconditional love, remind us of the importance of companionship, and help us find a sense of purpose beyond ourselves. In return, we owe them our love, attention, and commitment to their well-being.
